Texas Wildflower Family Portraits

There are over 5,000 species of Texas wildflowers, and nothing is prettier than the seasonal Texas bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrush blooms! It has definitely been a great year for wildflowers, and with the extended rains we have had all month they are expected to stick around a bit longer than usual. Being raised and born in Texas, I have been familiar with the gorgeous blooms that I see every day growing on the side of the highway and several roads that I take to and from work. I always see families pulling over to capture a few photos of their kiddos with their cell phones! These photos were taken on an overcast early morning, and I couldn’t have asked for better lighting. Such a beautiful family!
