Christmas Holiday Portraits 2012 // Family Portrait Photography

2012 came and went so quickly, and I had such a successful and busy holiday season that I just now have gotten the opportunity to give some TLC and attention to my website! There are so many great sessions to share with all of you that I don’t even know where to start! I had many clients from last year return for another updated family Christmas family portrait session, and I was fortunate to welcome several newcomers as well. I am so thankful for all of my clients past, present, and future! I am looking forward to a wonderful 2013 and I have so many ideas I want to bring to the table. I can’t wait for another great year. Thank you for all of your support!

Levi Turns One!

If you have been following my posts for a while, you would have met cute little Addison who has done several sessions with me since last summer. Meet her baby brother Levi who turns one in January! He has the cutest expressions and incredibly gorgeous blue eyes! I am pretty sure he will be breaking hearts in no time!;)

Derek & Elizabeth : Engagement Session // Grapevine, TX Portrait Photographer

Tis’ the season for engagements! Derek and Elizabeth are originally from Georgia, and moved to Texas not too long ago. They plan on having their wedding in Georgia, but I was so happy to be given the opportunity to capture their engagement portraits here in Texas! Elizabeth told me that Derek used to work at a Starbucks that she visited all of the time, and he ended up proposing to her with the ring attached to the string of a tea bag! I thought that was so sweet, so we decided to take some of their portraits at a Starbucks coffee shop. I love the outdoorsy and earthy colors of their photos, and the reds worked really well. They are so obviously in love that it made it fun and easy to capture moments! I am positive her wedding is going to be gorgeous…..now I gotta find a way to make my way up to Georgia next October!;)

Talia & Matthew’s Vintage Wedding 11.03.2012 // Dallas Wedding Photography

I have been awaiting for this big day for Talia and Matthew when I had first met them for their engagement session back in January! They are a couple very much in love, and made were really easy to work with. I adore their personalities and all of the unique ideas that Talia had for their wedding. Both of them are extremely warm hearted and laid back, and I was so glad to be capturing this important moment in their lives. It’s all about the small details – Talia did a lot of DIY for her wedding which included burlap pieces, color schemes of yellow and grey, birdcages, and gorgeous bouquets. The simplicity did not take anything away at all for this small and intimate wedding. Everything came out amazing, and her bridal party was so much fun. I challenged myself as a photographer, and came out stronger and inspired. Congrats to the newlyweds!:)
